This chic unit is operated by a state-of-the-art mechanical thermostat and comes with three strong and sturdy wire shelves as well as four roomy door shelves. The clever reversible door hinge means you can adjust the freezer for either left or right-handed opening. New Danby Health NIST Bundles include a Digital Data Logging device which will record the temperature of liquid inside of the refrigerator. The NIST thermometers have been calibrated to the ISO 17025:2017 standard and have a +/- 0.25 C variance for precise temperature accuracy.

Garage ready means that the freezer is well insulated and equipped to handle temperature extremes in an enclosed garage. The garage must be enclosed so that the freezer is not subject to snow, rain and other environmental weather conditions not meant for an electrical appliance. The exterior temperature range that the garage ready freezers can operate within is 0F - 110F/-17C – 43C.
Danby’s refrigerators and freezers operate at a sound level between 35 and 46 decibels. This is within the normal decibel range for modern freezers.
