COVID-19 Update
August 8th, 2022 – UPDATE
To our valued customers:
While cases are lower and infection rates seem to have flattened out, we understand that COVID-19 is not gone. We continue to monitor the situation closely and adjust our business practices to ensure the safety of our staff and customers. As such there have been modifications to how we’re operating as we enter the Fall season.
We will continue to track COVID-19 and will follow guidelines as laid out by health experts and our provincial governments.
- Our Canadian office is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, but all employees who are able to work remotely are doing so
- Warehouse operations are fully functional while practicing social distancing and increased sanitation measures.
- All retail outlet stores are now open. Please contact individual stores with inquiries.
- We are in full compliance of social distancing and provincially ordered requirements.
The situation is ever changing and we will continue to provide updates as new information becomes available. If we all continue to follow the safety guidelines set forth by our Government and Health authorities, we will get through this together.

COVID-19 is affecting all companies, including Danby, but we are doing our best to keep operating optimally. Please expect greater delays in all of our services. Protecting our staff and servicing our customers is paramount as we strive to support you during these difficult times. As we navigate through these challenging times, Danby would like to address the status of our operations. We have been classified as an “essential business” and will remain open until further notice. We have implemented the following measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees and customers:
- Our Canadian office is closed, but all employees who are able to work remotely are doing so
- Warehouse operations are fully functional while practicing social distancing and increased sanitation measures.
- All retail outlet stores are closed until further notice. As a result, orders cannot be picked up at this time.
- We are in full compliance of social distancing and provincially ordered requirements.
