5 Ways to Make Your Small Kitchen Look and Feel Bigger

Here are 5 ways to make your small kitchen look and feel bigger:

  1. Use light colours: Light colours reflect light, making the room appear larger. Choose light-coloured walls, cabinets, and countertops. You can also add pops of colour with accessories but avoid using too dark or bold colours. 
  2. Add mirrors: Mirrors are a creative way to make a small space look bigger. Hang a mirror on a wall or install mirrored tiles on the backsplash. You can also use a mirror as a door for a cabinet or pantry. 
  3. Use vertical space. Optimize the space in your kitchen. Use vertical space by installing wall cabinets or hanging pots and pans from the ceiling.  
  4. Declutter: Clutter can make a small kitchen feel even smaller. Get rid of anything you don’t use or need. This will free up space and make the kitchen feel more open. 
  5. Choose the right appliances: When choosing appliances for a small kitchen, opt for smaller models or appliances that can be stacked. You can also choose appliances with built-in storage, such as a refrigerator with a bottom freezer. Multifunctional appliances are a good space-saving option.
