We were thrilled when we were recently chosen as one of the top employers in the area. Danby was given special call out for some of the things that have been implemented to ensure our employees feel valued. 

Employees at Danby can plan securely for the future with contributions to a defined contribution pension plan and share in the company's successes through an annual profit-sharing plan available to all employees. Danby's focused charitable program is built around helping sponsor and resettle new Canadians and refugees -- the company has committed to assisting at least 50 Afghan families this year and developed the formal "Ease into Canada" program to assist other local employers to successfully hire and bring new Canadians into the workforce. Danby has introduced a hybrid working model that varies by position and allows some employees to work up to three days offsite each week and loans employees the needed technology and furniture for their home offices -- employees can also apply to work remotely up to three months outside of Canada.
