This full-sized model is quite spacious as it provides 10.1 cubic feet (287 liters) of interior cooling area and offers a convenient and easy-to-maintain manual defrost system. The Energy Star rated appliance is designed to reduce your power bills by cutting back on the amount of electricity used. This chic unit is operated by a state-of-the-art mechanical thermostat and comes with three strong and sturdy wire shelves as well as four roomy door shelves. The clever reversible door hinge means you can adjust the freezer for either left or right-handed opening.

    We do not recommend using an extension cord.

    This is normal. If you feel like it is coming on too often, adjust your temperature setting.
    Our refrigerators are not designed for outside installation. This also includes anywhere that is not temperature controlled. ie. garages, porches, carports, etc.
    Danby’s refrigerators and freezers operate at a sound level between 35 and 46 decibels. This is within the normal decibel range for modern refrigerators.
    Is it plugged in and turned on? Did you allow the unit to sit upright for 6 hours prior to plugging the unit in? If yes, to all of the above and it is still not cooling, please contact consumer care.
    Danby’s medical refrigerators are designed to operate between a temperature range of 36F - 46F/2.2C – 7.7. The refrigerators are engineered to maintain a steady temperature range throughout the entire appliance. Medications that need to be stored within the specified temperature range of the appliance can be stored in the unit; however, models not equipped with NIST thermometers should not be used for vaccine storage. Medical refrigerators are not meant for institutional/scientific research purposes.
