Customer Reviews

Premiere 30 Pint Dehumidifier is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dehumidifier works just as it should. This model works very well to dehumidify my aprox. 500 sq. ft. basement. Auto shut off works well and I dump a full bucket every morning. I've had this machine (DDR30B1GP) for over a year and have no complaints. Unit is quiet and looks good. If and when it dies. I will buy the same one again. I work in a appliance repair shop and purchased this brand because they're not in here often, and when they are, the warranty coverage is excellent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great dehumidifer It sucks a lot of moisture out of the air. My one beef about it is that it is quite noisy. Great if you like a white noise machine....not so much if you are a light sleeper. Also the water reservoir fills very rapidly, but that is probably more how much moisture there is to remove in the house. Maybe a larger reservoir would be a great idea for this de humidifer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gets the job done! I have had this dehumidifier for about a year and a half now and have never had a bit of trouble with it. It's totally reliable and keeps my rec room and 2 bedrooms in the basement nice and dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very satisfied The unit is fairly light. Water basket easy to empty, and of manageable volume. Display easy to understand. Much quieter than other dehumidifiers I have used. Satisfactory all round.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works good, while it works Barely got 14 months of use out of it. Getting an EC reading now. Thought I was getting something decent at $219 + hst. Is it really worth shipping it to Guelph from Toronto to get it fixed? Probably get another reading after it's fixed assuming it doesn't get destroyed in transit. And guess who won't be responsible for that?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GOOD PRODUCT This Dehumidifier takes lots of water from the air in my basement. There are few things I wish to improve. The water container should be bigger. In summer, I have to remove water everyday. The unit has too many function, simplify it would be better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good Dehumidifier We have used our dehumidifier for over a year now and it has exceeded our expectations. One would expect for the price point that the dehumidifier would have preformed just average and been very loud.

FAQs

It is supposed to be there to help determine the water level.
We recommend setting your dehumidifier to between 40-50%.
Information pertaining to watts and amps can be found on the rating plate located on the back of the unit.
There are a couple of reasons this could be occuring. 1) There may not be enough humidity in your environment or 2) Your relative humidity set higher than ambient humidity. Please adjust your settings accordingly if this is the case.
This will vary based on humidity level. It will pump out the water when it reaches a certain level (pump models only).
This varies based on model, however most models have been manufactured to have the fan turn off automatically.
This is not recommended, as the unit is built to operate using the drain hose/power cord provided.
This varies by model, however all dehumidifiers are a one shot timer. Please refer to the owner’s manual for timer instruction.
This varies based on model. With some models you simply screw the hose onto the outlet on the back of the unit. With other models you have to remove the bucket, feed the hose through the back of the unit and connect to the adaptor above the bucket area, then replace the bucket. It is important to look at your control panel. Some units have a “continuous drain” button on the control panel. If that is the case for your unit, you must press this button after the hose is in place or the function will not work. Please refer to your owner’s manual.
