Description

This unit works best in an area of up to 4,500 square feet. With its Energy Star® rating and environmentally-friendly R410a refrigerant, this unit will cut your electricity bills and help the ozone layer. Between a low and high fan speed, you are able to control either speeds with its electronic digital panel. The de-icing feature will ensure that your coils will always be ice-free. There’s a low-temperature feature which enables the dehumidifier to operate in temperatures as low as 41F (5ºC). It’s convenient to relocate from room to room due to the handy built-in rolling castors. The automatic restart feature will turn the appliance back on after a power failure. When it comes time to clean the filter it can easily be removed, washed, and quickly re-inserted. This graceful dehumidifier also features a 24-month warranty on parts and labor with carry-in service.

FAQs

The water produced by your Danby’s dehumidifiers is referred to as grey water. It is not suitable for drinking, but can be great for watering plants and flowers.
All Danby dehumidifiers offer both a bucket for collecting water which can be removed and emptied when full as well as a continuous drain which bypasses the bucket with the use of a hose and gravity to empty into a drain.  Some models have a pump option.
Danby dehumidifiers come with reusable filters.  You would only need to replace a filter if it becomes damaged.
Danby’s dehumidifiers operate at a sound level between 50 and 56 decibels. This is within the normal decibel range for modern “quiet” dehumidifiers.
Danby dehumidifiers uses 2.2 to 4.1 Amps, and 250 to 420 Watts, based on this year’s model, varying with size.
There are a couple of reasons this could be occurring. 1) There may not be enough humidity in your environment or 2) Your relative humidity set higher than ambient humidity. Please adjust your settings accordingly if this is the case.
