Platinum Extended Warranty Facts

  • Only Available in Canada
  • Both the original manufacturer's warranty and the PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY are valid only if accompanied by the original proof of purchase.
  • Customers must register the product prior to purchasing a PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY
  • An e-mail address is required during the on-line registration process, as all PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY confirmations are sent via e-mail
  • All products are eligible to carry a maximum of a 4 year PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY. This can be achieved by either: A) purchasing a 4 year warranty, or B) purchasing two consecutive 2 year warranties. The second 2 year warranty must be purchased prior to the expiration of the first purchased warranty
  • The PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY is not available on microwaves, or refrigeration units with semi-conductor (thermal-electric) cooling systems
  • If the product has been replaced under manufacturer's warranty PRIOR to the purchase of the PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY, the replacement product is NOT eligible to carry the PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY.
  • A PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY is non refundable and non-transferable between customers or units of a different category
  • If the original manufacturer's warranty has expired PRIOR to the purchase of the PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY, the product is no longer eligible to carry a PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY. If the PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY is purchased AFTER the original warranty, the PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY is void and will remain non refundable.
  • When a product carrying a PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY is replaced under warranty, the replacement product will carry the remainder of the original PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY
  • If a 2 year PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY is originally purchased and the product is replaced under this warranty, the product is no longer eligible to carry an additional 2 year PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY
  • The PLATINUM EXTENDED WARRANTY extends the original manufacturer's warranty. The details of this warranty are listed in the product owner's manual
